When choosing an option for whitening your teeth, it’s important to consider what works best for not only your appearance, but your health and lifestyle as well. Spa-Dent has developed a product to make it easy to whiten at your dental office. Why take the risks or inconvenience associated with pharmacy whitening when you can achieve superior results, in a fraction of the time, at almost the same price, supervised under the care of your dental professional.
We use Digital x-rays rather than traditional x-rays. Digital x-rays allow instantaneous diagnosis and review, and expose patients to 90% less radiation. By using digital x-rays we are also saving the environment by reducing chemical and material waste.
Panoramic x-rays offer patients a complete detailed image of the entire mouth including the teeth, jaw (upper and lower), sinuses, and TMJ. It provides a complete picture on how everything looks and relates to each other
Micro Ultrasonic Scaling
We provide our patients with the luxury of Ultrasonic Scaling. It is more comfortable for patients and allows for the scaling process to be completed faster than having to ‘scrape’ tooth surfaces like the conventional scaling process.
VELscope Oral Cancer Screening
Oral health examination using the VELscope system allows for rapid and easy oral cancer detection. Shining a non-invasive blue light into your mouth allows us to detect any early abnormalities within the gum tissue. If lesions are detected, they can be tested and followed up with to rule out any serious disease or complications.
Intra Oral Camera
An Intra Oral camera is a very small specialized camera that allows you to see what the dentist sees! It allows our practice to view clear, precise images of your mouth, teeth and gums, in order for us to accurately make a diagnosis. With clear, defined, enlarged images, you see details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations. This can mean faster
diagnosis with less chair-time for you!
Intra Oral cameras also enable our practice to save your images in our office computer to provide a permanent record of treatments. These images and treatments can be printed for you, for other specialists, and your lab or insurance companies.
